Why Should we Strive for Mind Body Balance?

Mind body balance can help us reduce anxiety, improve focus and concentration while helping us regulate our emotions. We want a healthy functioning relationship with ourselves so that we can create the life that we want, full of value, joy and success. The easiest way to nurture your mind body and spirit connection is through practices such as meditation, breath work or yoga to name a few because they help us access your subtle energy system of the body.

What exactly is the subtle energy system of your body?

Subtle energy includes your emotions, thoughts, sensation, shifts, mind and the ego. Ego is your sense of self-esteem; it mediates between the conscious and unconscious.

Why do I feel it’s important to work with your subtle energy?

Everything around us is made of matter and energy, including the human body.

Matter = anything that takes up space / energy = the ability to move matter or do work.

We have

· physical energy (how healthy are we?),

· emotional energy (how happy are we?),

· mental energy (how well we can focus on something?)

· spiritual energy (why are we doing all this?).

A healthy subtle energy system will move our body more effectively = physical health

My sensory guided meditations communicate with your subtle energy system and the central nervous system to balance and “service” this vehicle we call our body. Meditation can be challenging so I chose a guided practice to help keep my mind focused and I use my sensory system to communicate with my body. This complete approach allows your meditation time to be more effective and easier. Every part of you is involved and onboard!

I have a section of free guided meditations, mantra's and manuals on my website shop. Have a look around and see if there is something there that sparks your curiosity. Please do feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

Unplug and tune into your mental wellbeing. With gratitude Destiny Sophia
